Gatekeeper Systems® was founded in 1998 on the principles of innovation, quality, and service. Our initial loss prevention solution, The Wheel® Trolley Containment system, was launched to reduce trolley loss and ensure ample trolleys were available for store patrons. The solution was welcomed by the industry and quickly adopted by major retailers. In the mid-2000s, Gatekeeper Systems saw an opportunity to leverage its locking wheel technology to solve the increasingly common pushout theft problem and created the Purchek® system, the first of its kind.
