Stillwater Medical Group opened earlier this month its second retail clinic inside a Walmart store. The newest clinic at Walmart opened its doors on July 8 and marks its second clinic location. The first location opened in December 2009 at the Walmart in Oak Park Heights, Minn.

Pharmasave 425-store company is forming a strategic alliance with Pharmachoice, a 275-outlet Canadawide drug store chain. The two companies recently launched the joint venture PharmAlliance Inc. as a strategy to buy jointly from suppliers. The vehicle PharmAlliance will enable the two organizations to jointly negotiate with suppliers so they'll be negotiating on behalf of 700 stores rather than on behalf of 425 stores or 275 stores.
