Gatekeeper Gives Back

Gatekeeper Systems enjoys being involved in charitable activities and “Giving Back” to the community that has been so supportive. Gatekeeper is committed to supporting those in need and thus started the “Gatekeeper Gives Back” program.  The company shows support with donations while the employees generously volunteer their time and skills in the spirit of giving back.  Listed below is information regarding some of the programs that Gatekeeper is involved with.

Project 999

The Project 999 Bike Ride begins at the California Peace Officers' Memorial in Sacramento, where the ride participants are given time to reflect on the sacrifice made by those who have lost their lives.  The riders then begin the 630 mile journey to the Orange County Peace Officers' Memorial in Santa Ana, California.  Kudos to Brett, Hank, and Mike, three of the Gatekeeper team who raised money and rode for three fallen officers in the 2008 ride.

 Families Forward

In March 2008, Gatekeeper joined efforts with local organization Families Forward to help end homelessness in Orange County, CA.  Families Forward is an organization which provides homeless families in South Orange County with housing, counseling, food, referrals, school supplies, career coaching and other services.  Last year, this organization assisted 10,000 individuals in need.

Gatekeeper Gives Back held a spring food drive and was able to donate over 300 canned goods to the organization.  Next on the agenda, Gatekeeper is joining efforts with Families Forward for their Back to School program in which they supply backpacks and age appropriate school supplies to over 500 students in the local area.
